Living a life of worship

Our teaching today was on worship - and not just about singing and music.
The instructor spoke about various kinds of worship, including worship as a love song to God.
She had us write our very own love song or poem, and here's what came out of my fingers as we quickly wrote our praises to God in about ten minutes.

Your love, my love
I see your love for me in the simpleness of life
A green leaf
A fragrant blossom
A ray of sunshine
You control and created it all
Because you love beauty and you knew I would too
I see your love for me in the way you lead me
A new day
A growing challenge
A different kind of family
You guide and are changing me
Because you know what I need even before I do
I know your love for me in the way you touch me
A warm hug
A tender kiss
A butterfly in my stomach
You desire and want me
Because you chose me before I chose you
Please know my love for you in the way I live
An act of obedience
A shout of praise
A moment of peace
I worship and adore you
Because I want to surrender to you in all I do

Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only. Deuteronomy 6:13 (NIV)
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise, His greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend Your works to another, they will tell of Your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. Psalm 145:3-5 (NIV)
