God is love

The refrain of a children's worship song is repeating itself in my head: ♫God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me.♫

I don't know what I've done (nothing really) to deserve His blessings in my life.

I don't have a romantic card or a bouquet of flowers this Valentine's Day, but I know for certain that I have the greatest love of all in my life. God loves me dearly. 
He was always showing it to me, but I finally see it now. God brings birds, sunshine, sweet smells, food, friends and laughter all into my life. Right now in Malaysia I cannot pinpoint one specific thing that has really cemented my understanding of God's love for me - it's really everything! I get to wake up early and have a peaceful time with God before the day really get started. I have breakfast, a cold shower and time with the friends I've made in my DTS. We are pushed to share God's love and gospel with people we meet. I have my health. So many simple things I would more often than not take for granted. But I know that all things come from God - the good and the bad.
