God is faithful. Period.

Time and time again God just shows up in a way that reminds me of his power and faithfulness. Not only that, but He rewards our faithfulness too.

One of my roles at YWAM Brisbane as Hospitality Ministry Leader is setting up the space where we hold a monthly open worship night. This week I prayed that more visitors would come to September’s worship night than in previous months.

When another staff member and I were setting up a coffee station we joked that we needed more cups than normal because there would be a lot of extra people. We prayed together, asking God to invite people to the worship night.

I found out later that Wednesday night’s worship had the most non-YWAMers attending in years. The whole night I felt giddy because so many new people (maybe 30) were hanging out at our ‘house’ praising God, worshipping Him together with other Christians.

There is definitely something happening at YWAM Brisbane. More people are coming to the base to hang out (like kids after school to play pool or ping pong), or join us in worship (like this past Wednesday night). I really believe God is rewarding the years of faithfulness from this YWAM community to reach out to the neighbourhood.

It is so exciting to be part of YWAM Brisbane during this growing season.
