What's in a name

It's interesting how something so small can make a big impact on my way of thinking.

When we first arrived at the YWAM base, everyone received small name cards on their beds with words specifically written for them. The leaders for my school prayed for each of us before writing them. And wow, my card really spoke to me.

It read:

• Your name means devoted to God
• God is not going to call you to something that you don't want to do
• He is going to restore your heart and your trust in him
• Be open

I feel like each of those statements are very true for me life. There is a lot I need to be open about and be willing to explore with God's help. And in order for me to do that, I need to trust Him.
