A voice from above

Here is an email I sent my parents on Friday.

Guess what?!?

I can hear God's voice!

I just didn't think I really could.

During my one-on-one with Jenna today (my school leader) we talked a bit about the lectures this week. And I questioned what God's voice actually SOUNDS like?  As silly as it sounds, I really thought I was broken or something, because I didn't have an audible voice or voice in my head!

But I hear God all the time! I hear Him in my heart when I know I should do something loving for someone else. I hear Him when I get words or Scriptures stuck in my head during prayer for myself and for others. I hear Him when singing and have lyrics jump right off the screen and into my spirit.

This is SO exciting!

I realize other people might hear God a different way, but I'm just so glad to know that I'm not of 'little faith'. I can hear Him!
