There are just 24 hours left until I leave for Miri, Malaysia.
It's a time to freak out a bit, because I don't feel physically ready. There's packing to be done and more.
But it's also a great time to reflect on what's been happening in my life over the past three months here at YWAM Brisbane.
There has been so much growth and depth in my relationship with God. He continues to challenge me to get even closer to Him in everything I do. And the thing that I'm now must sure of, is the closer I get to Christ the more He points out where I need to change.
I don't look at that fact as defeatist. I look at it as encouraging.
While I feel that most of the growth I've experienced happened during the first few weeks of being in DTS, I know that the next nine weeks on outreach (six of those in Malaysia) will be an even more challenging time.
Please keep me and my fellow travellers in your prayers (Abbey, Kate - the two leaders - as well as Julianne, Rachael, Krista, Maija, Alex and Jake).
